USA Cheer Youth Coach Membership is available for cheerleading coaches and designed specifically for coaches of youth organizations.

Requirements:

• Background Screening

This membership includes secondary liability coverage for members who are 18 years of age or older who have completed all requirements for membership. Coverage applies while the approved Youth Coach member is supervising cheer practices, games, or competition with their designated team. No coverage applies for 1) training individual participants or conducting their own camps/clinics 2) acting as a choreographer for a team that they do not coach full time or 3) while coaching any other sports besides cheer, STUNT and dance.

USA Cheer Professional Membership is for choreographers, judges, contract employees, chaperones, administrators, etc. This membership comes with member-only newsletters, and special rates on USA Cheer merchandise and select online courses.

USA Cheer STUNT Athlete Membership is a required membership for Club/Youth Rec STUNT athletes. Make sure the correct Program Affiliation is selected. If the Program is not available from the dropdown menu, please contact the Program Administrator to make sure their Club STUNT Program Membership is active.

USA Cheer STUNT Coach Membership is for coaches involved in the sport of STUNT, coaching a STUNT Team, and are 18+ years old. This is a required membership for Club Stunt Program Coaches.

USA Cheer STUNT Athlete & Coach (combined) Membership is for STUNT athletes who are also involved in coaching a STUNT team and 18+ years old.

USA Cheer STUNT Official Membership is for scoring officials and referees involved in the sport of STUNT and are 18+ years old.

USA Cheer provides training and certificate of completion of STUNT officials. STUNT officials are independent contractors who work with each local STUNT association, state high school association, league, or hosting school independently of USA Cheer. As such, USA Cheer does not offer any insurance with membership. STUNT officials are responsible for obtaining any desired insurance policies related to their participation as an official, such as accident/catastrophic coverage. We recommend obtaining membership with the National Association of Sports Officials at https://www.naso.org. When asked for your sport, enter “STUNT” in the “Other” box.  USA Cheer does not require that you obtain coverage in order to participate as a STUNT official. Check with your local jurisdictions to determine if they have more specific requirements or recommendations.
