If you don't remember your username and you're not sure which email address is on your account, the system can still find your account by your full name and date of birth. Once it finds your account, it will email a password reset link to whatever email address is on file.
Before you start
- You need your first name, last name, and date of birth exactly as they appear on your account.
- You need to be able to open the email account that's on file for your account — even though you don't enter the email yourself, that's where the reset link gets sent.
- If you're not sure what email is on your account but you know it's an email you no longer have access to, this method won't help — see the section "I don't have access to the email on my account anymore" at the bottom.
Step-by-step
- Go to the sign-in page for your sport and click Forgot user name or password? below the Sign In button.
- On the Forgot Your User Name or Password? page, the Username method is selected by default. Below the Submit button, click the dropdown labeled Don't remember your User Name? and choose Verify Your Account With Alternate Info.

- The form will change to ask for your First Name, Last Name, and Birthdate (mm/dd/yyyy). Fill in all three fields exactly as they appear on your account.
- Complete the CAPTCHA challenge if one is shown.
- Click Submit.

- If the system finds a matching account, you'll be returned to the sign-in page with a confirmation message that an email has been sent to the email address on file. (The address is partially masked for privacy.)
- Open your email. Look for a message with a password reset link. If you don't see it within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
- Click the reset link in the email. From there, follow Step 3 of the article Reset your password using your email address — that's where you'll set the new password on the Change Password page.

Common error messages and what they mean
- "No user account was found with this profile." — The name and date of birth you entered don't match any account. Double-check spelling and your date of birth. If you've changed your name recently (for example, after marriage), try your previous last name. If you're still stuck, contact your national office.
- "We're sorry, an error occurred while processing your request. Please try again." — Most commonly this means your account exists but doesn't have an email address on file, so the system can't send a reset link. Contact your national office to add an email address.
I don't have access to the email on my account anymore
If the email address on your account is one you can no longer access, no self-service recovery method will work — the system always sends recovery information to the email on file. Contact your national office; they can verify your identity and update the email address on your account so you can recover it from there.
